Hsu-Chieh Hu

 

hu_meitu_1I’m third-year PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering department at Carnegie Mellon University supervised by Prof. Stephen F. Smith and Prof. Anthony Rowe. Prior to join CMU, I have ever worked in MediaTek inc., a top 3 IC design company, for 3 years. My job mainly focused on LTE MAC and Radio Resource Control protocol software. In CMU, firstly I joined GM-CMU collaboration project and worked on TCP performance optimization of Connected Vehicle. I created a learning-based TCP agent in Linux to adjust TCP window size under dynamic vehicular environment. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and master’s degree in Communication Engineering from National Taiwan University under supervision of Prof. Ping-Cheng Yeh. My current research interests include intelligent transportations and various fields in artificial intelligence including machine learning, scheduling and distributed constraint optimization.
