Gregory Barlow

barlow_gregDr. Gregory Barlow is a project scientist at the Robotics Institute, Carnegie Mellon University. He received his Ph.D. in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University in 2011; he did his undergraduate work at North Carolina State University. Dr. Barlow was a Barry M. Goldwater Scholar and a National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellow.

Research interests:

My current research focuses on intelligent transportation systems, particularly real-time adaptive traffic signal control for urban road networks. My general research interests are in the application of optimization, learning, and search to real-world problems, particularly problems with dynamic or uncertain environments.
